Day 97

Jammin' : : After our Sunday evening supper together, my brothers pulled out their instruments to jam. They hadn't done it in a while. It's always fun to watch and listen.

Day 96

Mayan Mocha : : Tried the new Mayan mocha at Peet's Coffee today on a little date night with my husband. It supposedly has pepper added to it to give it a little kick, but what I noticed (and appreciated) was the DARK chocolate! 

Day 95

From Where I Stand : : My daughter is getting better every day at sitting on her own. She sat playing on this old Toy Story sheet that belonged to one of my brother's when he was a child for a while today while I worked on something at my parents' house.

Day 94

Sewing Machine : : I received this wonderful machine for Christmas but had yet to find a time to test it out. I'm still having some trouble getting the bobbin to work just right, but I'm excited for some upcoming projects I have planned.

Day 93

Hair Bow : : Haven't been able to get many bows in my daughter's hair because it is still too short, but this cute headband fits her perfectly. :)

Day 92

Homemade Carrot Cake : : Today was my dad's birthday. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting from scratch for him. All the family got together after he got off work to celebrate at my parents' house. The cake was gone in a matter of minutes, which was a big deal considering my family doesn't usually like cake.

Day 91

Auburn Ale House : : My husband and I snuck away for a quick lunch date while my mother-in-law kept an eye on our little one. This was at the restaurant where we both enjoyed fish 'n chips and a cold glass of their housemade IPA.
