Day 127

Paddling Up the River : : I completely missed taking a photo today, but I had this extra one I was excited about from a few days ago when we went on our trail walk. I captured these two paddlers as we were walking over the bridge. Gorgeous day for a paddle. I did some readjustments post-processing to bring out the beautiful hues of the water and the ripples as they floated by.

Day 126

Rained Out : : We attempted to go to a River Cats game tonight but a huge storm blew in just as the game began. They attempted to keep the ground dry with this enormous tarp (the world's largest slip-and-slide!) but, alas, the rain never let up. :(

Day 125

Dandelions : : We took a family stroll along the American River Bike trail today. It made for a gloriously wonderful Sunday morning. There were many flowers blooming alongside the trail, including this very fluffy, large dandelions.

Procession : : We attended a May Crowning procession downtown today. As we walked, we prayed all 15 decades of the Rosary together.

Tea Time : : Besides the absolutely fantastic grin on my daughter's face, I chose this photo today because it depicts us doing one of my favorite past times -- enjoying afternoon tea. My daughter was thrilled to be introduced to the ritual.

Day 122

Green Day : : Everything on my daughter's tray was green at lunch today. She loves honeydew melon and avocados.

Day 121

Goober! : : My daughter woke up WAY too early this morning (you can see the early morning light peeking through the blinds) but was ready to play from the start. This is her silly, goober face. Just love it!
